Superb original press photograph of Alberto Ascari about to take a still-unpainted Lancia-Ferrari D50 for a test drive. The larger man stood behind is Gianni Lancia. This shot was taken at a test day at Campo Volo airfield in 1954. 18x12CM. Official Lancia press stamp to the reverse.
